looking really good, I'm not noticing much color change in your stigmas. Are the darker ones washed out from your lamps?

Hey are you gonna give em any bonus dark time before the main harvest?

Obviously you can't do it to the ones coming down early, but how do you feel about a 36 hour night before harvest?

That's the thing, they are about 80% white, but starting to turn more and more every day...  I'm confused

I've never been a believer in that.  I don't really see what the plants can really get out of it in such a short amount of time.  I'll probably just cut them right in the morning after a 12 hour period... It's getting close.  I can see milky trichs, but the amber lacks.  Hopefully that changes in the next 7 days.  I'm in no rush, but patience is starting to bare down on me.

I know growers who swear by the dark cycle right before harvest. Haven't been able to test this theory myself yet.

i know i'm going to try 48 hours of straight darkness before harvest for my stuff this time. but i'm not sure how much its going to help me usinging hardly any nutes.

48 hours of dark is pointless, just harvest the plant, there is no solid evidence to prove that an extended dark period before harvest does anything.

My point exactly.  The hazy one is coming down in a couple few days, and I'll give the rest 8 more days.  The higher priority plants are getting too big for the lighting in the veg box (150w).

Honestly the only reason I'm happy is because I finally get to smoke more than a tiny bit per day for a little while.  The real prize is coming in 3 months.

I soaked all my vapor pieces in ISO the other day and got some really nice dark amber goop.  First time to ever smoke that, it was so incredibly smooth!  Do you have any plans with all that trim?

Indeed it is!  Already chopped one that was showing the signs of going hermie.  Damn the seeds I used...  It looks dense as fuck and I have more than I originally thought, so it's allll good.

Here's the top bud, It will probably weigh 7-8 grams dry.

Hell ya guys, muchos gracias amigos.

I am real antsy to smoke some of that cola.  Looks pretty frosty on the inside.  The fans on that plant weren't that coated.  The other indica is going to rock much more though.  It is actually swelling unlike this one did.  It also doesn't look affected by any pollen either.

Ah well it's gonna smoke good either way.  The haze is purpling and my basement is pretty warm, so it's definitely genetically dependent, not environmentally. I'll try to get pics of it when I harvest it in a few days but I'm not entirely sure it will show up as well as it looks in person.  The underside of the leaves are turning purple too, as well as the veins on the underside.  :crazy2:  It's got by far the lowest yield, but by far the highest trich coverage and tall fucking trich stems.  Also the best flavor and high.  I just wish it wasn't a stretchy low yielder... What can ya do :shrug:

Dried pics will look different for sure.

Well It's almost dry enough to smoke, but alas not quite there.  I cut up the cola just now to allow it to dry easier (lots of water in the fat stem) and so it can fit in my little mason jar.  I took a pic.  It's decent but the other plants will be much better fully fattened.  I noticed it was very dense at first, but now has shrunk quite a bit and is slightly spongy.  Maybe this will go away when the core has dried.  I popped it in the jar to pull some of the moisture from the core to the outside as it's not drying very evenly and that will straighten that right up.

It's day 55 and I'm getting very close to cutting the others, 5 or 6 more days.  Then Magash's genetics make their appearance in a brand new grow box, with more space, better setup design and much better ventilation and FAE.  I can't wait.
