It's just the way I was raised, it's how my dad likes it so it's how I grew up eating it. If I eat a steak with a lot of juices if feel nausea set in. Don't get me wrong I have tried medium and medium rare before.

I gotta have my steaks medium if its cooked any more it tastes like a piece of rubber to me and if I wanted to chew things for hours I would get some chewing gum, but to each there own right.
