Indoor inexpensive cfl soil bagseed grow.. newbie

Found a bagseed and thought I'd try growing it. The soil is old and left over from a neighbors attempt (he had a local nursery make it for him) I added a little bat guano and more perlite. I know i should be watering with RO water, but so far I've just been using tap. Seedlings sprouted about 17 days ago. Just transplanted to a 3 gallon bag today. I dont know if its male or female

Let me know what you think! Any advice/help/suggestions are appreciated

You're probably almost flowering or halfway through. Good job. Any update pictures? Also I'm wondering why you think you should use RO water. From what I understand, using reverse osmosis water is not good for your plants because it lacks all the basic micronutrients because it was stripped out in the reverse osmosis process.

I found that note to be interesting and helpful. Thank you.

Ocean water is best. RO is great when used with a 1/4 strength nuit solution. Tsp works great too. I use tap in greenhouse, but it's well water. RO on bucket systems.

*bump*
I'm interested to see how this one resulted. You had a lot of light on that one plant, and it probably yielded much.
