Can't forget I also got unsexed Heavy Duty Fruity's, I can't wait to try those out!
I would start those seeds now, but I dont have a light setup for them, and cant afford to set one up. Victim of credit card fraud, but being a visa debit, they were plundering my savings, not credit :frown:

that sux man, doesn't even a debit credit card offer fraud protection?

you should by a 125w or 200w sunblaster CFL to keep moms to clone from..they aren't too costly, here u can get the 125w for around $90(Good for 4 moms and clones) and the 200w for $129(good for 5-6 moms and clones)...i'm quite impressed with the 200w i just got...works awesome and very little heat build up in my mom/vedge/clone room.

I decided i'm gonna cross my power plant seeds (95% sativa) with my Mazar (95% indica) once i get some healthy plants, going to use a Mazar female and a Power Plant male...already have a name worked out for the new strain....PowerMaz LOL

Yeah they do, but of course the bank will have to investigate. I do alot of online shopping so if they come to the conclusion I did not protect my card details, they wont pay. We'll see what happens...

Ok, so most the balls are pushing pistils out, just a couple that i'm keeping an eye on as they haven't got hairs yet.

HempMaster, I did some looking for those Sunblaster CFL's. So far the only place i found sending them overseas is a shop called TaraHydroponics.com, price was the best at that site anyways, lol, 45 euros plus 8euro shipping. Anyways, their webshop doesn't have credit card facilities. There was a paypal logo so I emailed asking if I can pay by paypal. In the meantime, anyone know of any other reasonable priced webshops that will send this product to Australia?

Cheers

If all you did was use your card in a normal way, IE: on a website that has a secure payment network, or used it in store, your not at fault and should get refunded.

I don't know any site that ships to Australia, sounds like the one u found is your best bet, just remember that you need a 6500k temp or higher for vedging, and these bulbs do not fit a normal light socket, they fit the same mogul socket as HID's. So you'll need a reflector, mogul socket and power cord, the bulbs have their ballast built in.

Nope, but i would imagine they work better than air cooling....though u need a 50 gallon res to cool a 1000w HID, less if u have a water chiller.

If you don't mind seedy weed then finish up and enjoy.
Tho I'd trash the seeds.
Greenhouse seems to have a rep for their female seeds to hermie.  Most likely the process they use to make the seeds.  So it may not be fault of your own or your bro that they hermied.
If you don't want seedy weed then trash them and start over.

I don't think they are going to seed. I'm watching the balls develop, they are splitting open and pushing out pistils, white hairs, so they are all female...so far.

I've got a couple balls to watch, as long as they develop into pistils it should all be good.

I have a couple spare mogul sockets from my old reflectors, i ended up getting a 2nd one as my first one was missing brackets, so the ebay seller sent me another whole unit, lol

Water cooling sounds good, but I personally wouldn't put water anywhere near my plants and electrical equipment. It's probably safe, but I sometimes think I have the worst luck in the world, lol.

I'm a mogul socket and ballast shy of another HPS LOL. I don't need it yet though. I'm diggin my small set up for now. I do intend to upgrade. Going to just stock pile than use it to move to do it legal.

I know the feeling. I'm not to worried about the water+electricity. Anyway, I wouldn't worry too much. Especially when its made by a nice company. Plus (if I read correctly) you could have your water resivoir a good deal away from the lights them self. Too much room for me though.

In order to grow good weed you need to be part carpenter, electrician, plumber, biologist, geneticist, chemist, and very willing to get dirty.

I've been working with power tools since I was 8, my dad is an electrical engineer who owned a 280 gal fish tank, and I studied biology with a specialty in genetics. Getting dirty comes naturally. I think my parents inadvertently trained me to be a weed grower.

See what you think on my first try.

Bring on the buds!
Almost of of those balls have split open and thrown out hairs, i think ill stop checking as I am 100% sure they aren't balls

Sent to me by a wiser person http://forum.grasscity.com/outdoor-grow-journals/594449-first-grow-summer-2010-a-9.html

Those aren't male flowers, at least from the picture they don't look like them. They are just large preflowers that have seen some better days, and as they mature they get super fat and look like they are seed pods, but they aren't.
A male flower will be on a stalk and have a ball (not a teardrop shape like what you have on your plant) on the end of it if it is at the crook of a branch.

Anyways, this Sunday marks the end of week three.
Here are some early bud shots

Nice! I'm gonna order some Extrema soon.
But can't wait to grow out Killikng Fields & Jackberry.
And IMO the seeds are very cheap for 10 quality seeds!
Let us know how your herijuana turns out. Are you doing a grow log?

Nice, I'll be sure to check em out

As for Sannies, I think I have found my permanent weed seed supplier!
The value for quality is unbelievable. I have joined the opengrow forums, and the plants look super dope! (Sorry for the bad pun, lol)

I placed my order for extrema yesterday. OMG, so many seeds and so little growing space lols.

I think that puts my tally at around 60 seeds, haha

Here are some other things I purchased for my grow op.

It is a green torch with headband. Allows me to work on my plants during night phase without disturbing the light cycle as the plants cannot see it.

Also got a 60x - 100x LED lighted pocket microscope. I figure it will come in handy come harvest time. I already got a 10x loupe, but this looks hella cool, lol. I saw a USB microscope which I plan to purchase later. Will come handy in some of my other hobbies

Both items cost me less than $20 @amazon. I did find the green torch for $9.99 at a cheap hydroponic store, but they took too long to email me a shipping quote, lols

Anyways, I'm off. Need to water the plants as soon as they wake up. I meant to do it last night but fell asleep, lols, hope theyre ok.

Cheers
DrMagickZx

Oh, forget to tell you guys that last night I added a flower additive to my watering regime.
It is called Alaska Pure, and is supposed to optimize the weight of your flowers.
http://www.nutrifield.com.au/additives/nf-alaska-pure/
It is made by nutrifield, the same brand as my nutes.
Adding half the recommended dose turned the water all dark and murky, lol.
It didn't effect the EC, but it did bring the PH down a bit. It also made it a little more resistant to PH down, I had found I had to use alot more compared to when I was starting with a higher PH level.

Anyways, let's hope it does my ladies some good

Had a little mishap, and I snapped one of the big branches :frown:
Plant #4 which had multiple tops, had something fall on it from above, which split it apart from the stem :frown:
I did what I could and propped it back in place with masking tape.
Any tip on what I need to do to make sure she makes a recovery?
She also lost a couple really small branches. I didn't bother trying to repair those ones as they were snapped off clean. Besides, they didn't have much bud developing on them.

I hope it doesn't cause her to hermie
