i thought it snuck in my soil and was there to kill me
instead practically overnight it ate all the gnats

And if it's a brown recluse like your tablet says it is, then you should not let it hang out in an area where you will regularly be. Their venom necrotizes large sections of flesh, and if you aren't careful you could lose an appendage, or contract gangrene, or even come down with a case of maggots in that giant rotting hole where your skin used to be.

Where's the spider? I've found hundreds of brown recluses, I'm somewhat of an expert.
