I just walked inside, turned on the tv, and as i was switching the channels, i felt something on my leg.... i ignored it for a second, thouhgt it was just a tickle or something, but it was moving. so I looked down, and there was a huge fucking black spider crawling up nmy leg.  fucking scary man
i brushed it off really quick and stomped on it.............

Spiders are fucking creepy, here in Florida we have wolf spiders that will run at you. Those aggressive little bastards are scary.

Actually, I believe you. But pics would be nice. Next time, don't crush it, just brush it off and shoot a pic.
Very few spiders in the US are dangerous, most are helpful. And they're all pretty, if somewhat creepy.

imagine coming home, putting something down on the ground so you can open the door, looking up, and realizing your hand is just a few inches away from one of them.
Wasn't the only of those bastards i found near my house either.

i got black widows completely surrounding my house. they're scary as hell and i'm even afraid of killing them. i wonder if a praying mantis can take'em....

tarantula? I'd much rather run across one of those, no chance of that sucker hiding in your shoe with you knowing about it lol. They're actually pretty docile too, my girl used to keep one as a pet.
Still, anything that has the potential to cause serious pain and bodily harm is not going anywhere near my hand, let alone letting it run across my body. :shudder:

I used to work in a produce department at a supermarket. We used to find all sorts of fucking huge jungle spiders, I can't even tell you how many tarantulas we used to kill with machetes. Scariest story ever though. I got home from work one day and sat on the john to take a shit... I drop my pants and scuttling from between my legs was this HUGE yellow spider, thing had to be 3" long with long legs and a purple design on its back. The thing had hitched a ride all the way from work to my house, scary as fuck. Needless to say the shit came ripping out of my ass while I was screaming like a little girl. I stomped that shit so many times that the corpse disintegrated. I love spiders too, but ewww shit gives me the creeps just thinking about it...

well I dont blame you if it is all black, since it could be a black widow. I normally dont get jumpy or scared of spiders unless they look like the poisonous ones, then i get jumpy and get out of the way, or smash them with my foot.
