hello, would this be fine?:
you grind the weed, you put it in a jar. you also pour some heptane there too. you close the jar's lid. you shake for half a minute or so. let it stay for like 10 minutes. after all that that you filter the weed, separating the goods with heptane. you let heptane to evaporate (or you fasten the operation by putting in a warm bath).
also, after the evaporation there would be oil, which would evaporate even more and become more like "hard oil".

never used to heptane ... we usually use ISO here. But yes thats the basic way to make oil/dabs
just make sure to evap fully (heat and mix)

I think your thinking of hexane OP. I remember reading that heptane would not be the best solvent for extracting THC.
Also can anyone tell me if hexane hash oil is better or worse then butane hash oil?

Hexane is best as I hear, heptane is p. average. I'll use heptane because I have some left from other extractions...
