 LA Confidential x Skunk #1 Hexane Hash

Came out great this time around. Had enough trim to fill the quart jar to the top, all of it just dripping with resin. Used one can of hexane, shook for 20-25 minutes, it evaporated in about an hr and I let it sit for one more to let any residual chemical boil off. This time I stayed away from using a hot water bath lol. No need for it since it's so warm out. I think I ended up yielding 1.25-1.5 grams give or take. I can't be bothered with actually trying to weigh it, so it's just an eyeball estimate.
I puffed a little of it and I'm soaring right now. Beautifully clear head high with just the right touch of sedation and body high. In about 10 or so more minutes I bet the indica part will take over and I'll be heading to the couch for a minute.
Anyways, that's pretty much the end of my LA runs besides the jarred buds. I think the next time I'll be making hash I'll be using a set of bubble bags. I really enjoy the oil, but my god is it such a pita to work with. It'll be a nice change to have some bubblehash for once.

I have a carbon copy in MJ Pictures of this thread. MJ Pictures tends to get a little more exposure, plus I was hoping for POTM nom possibly

That was only half of my trim from the last harvest. I still have another garbage bag to do. Do most people loose a lot of foliage before harvest time? I had 2 garbage bags of trim(1popcorn nugs, 1 leaf)from 9 plants under dual 600w's.

Are you talking trim as in every leaf from your plant, or trim as in the sugar coated stuff near the buds? I only keep the small stuff, the big fans I leave for the garbage disposal. I try to keep my plants small and compact and usually only fill up a small, wastebasket sized, trash bag when I harvest with the trash trim.

I throw anything in the bag with trichs. Only the largest leaves didnt have any and were not put in. But any leaf that touched the bud was covered in trichs. So it ended up being a ton. Hope you dont mind, but I added bud porn for refrence.

Generally when that happens, the preview box was checked and when it went to the preview screen yu just clicked back to threads instead of hitting submit the second time. At least thats what happens when Im wondering where my post went.

Yes, and I love it. The kushberry didn't come out nearly as nice, but that may have been more on me then the genetics. The LA got great reviews from my friends and I personally found it to be a great smoke.
Definitely a keeper IMO, although from what crusty says the OG that I have going into flowering tonight is the best out of the lot.
