Let me tell you...
I soaked some jumbo shrimp in some half and half for about 30 minutes the drained and battered with a salt and pepper flour. I then fried one side of the shrimp for about 5 minutes. After the 5 minutes I removed the shrimp from the oil and placed in a baking pan fried side down. I threw the pan in the oven and turned the oven to broil. While the shrimp were in the oven I made a suace that consisted of butter, lemon juice, minced garlic, parsley, and some cilantro. After about 5 minutes I pulled the shrimp out and tossed em on a plate and smothered em with the sauce. I had rice and green beans along side.
Got damn got damn that shit was good. Bout to hit the rum now.

My dad loves calamari, he eats that shit like once a week, I can never bring myself to try it though, eating squid just seems weird to me
