This is from a seed a friend gave to me, he had this seed at least 2 years prior to giving it to me and I germinated it more for just seeing how it would turn out rather then expecting it to be something I would end up seeing through to the end. it's been in flower for the past 2-3 weeks.
This started in may/june
There'll be more pics to come.

Nice.
I'm assuming you're not in America because of the date format you used. I was like, "Wait, it's not March 9th..."

So for a update the flowers are starting to swell a bit, and the top leaves are getting a darker shade of green and the lower leaves are lightening up and starting to fall off. hopefully there's nothing to be concerned of.

The lower leaves were drooping today, tried lifting the pot and I'm pretty sure there's enough water, maybe it was from the cold last night?
Anyway here's another update.

Doesn't look like anything to worry about, probably just using a little extra energy for the bud growth.

Is the lower fan leaves dying ok? I think it may be from too much nutrients, it hasn't really gotten any worse but I'm not sure what's causing it. suggestions?

That's gonna happen as it flowers. The plant as a whole looks pretty healthy to me.

Will it continue up the plant? I'm assuming it'll happen to all the main fan leaves then start on the secondary set of fan leaves?
Also is there any problem with removing the dead fan leaves, they sometimes rest on the buds and squash the hairs.

Honestly, the more I look into it it very well could be a pH problem or some kind of deficiency.
Edit: Hopefully a Trusted Cultivator will chime in.

Thanks I think I'm gonna get some litmus paper and see what the ph is, if there is a ph problem what can be expected to happen if left untreated?

It's very normal for lower fan leaves to yellow up, die and fall off - for a plant that size I would expect 1-3 at a time. You have quite a bit more than that; even so, I think it's nothing to worry about. But if no TC chimes in I would make a post in doctors diagnosis, because details of your grow may very well reveal a problem if one exists.

Nutrient lockout. The plant wont be able to take any nutrients from the roots and it will start stealing it from the leaves, which is why the turn yellow and die off.
I don't know that's what's happening tho, it could just be normal yellowing

I could be wrong but I'm pretty sure that they turn yellow normally when flowering is underway due to the nutrients going to the flower instead of the leaves and the leaves will eventually drop if you let it go naturally like most other plants do as they mature. I trim my fan leaves and small insignificant "suckers" (those tiny branches that are obviously not going to do anything other than use up energy that would otherwise go to the main flowers) slowly from the bottom up when they start to flower and throughout the cycle. I leave the top 3 or 4 pairs of fan leaves though. Your plant is looking healthy. You could check the pH though just in case. Never hurts to know.

I wouldn't worry about it when the yellowing is not going to crazy

I flushed with water a few days ago, and it's rained a bit since, but the leaves are starting to look much healthier.

I think I'm gonna harvest soon, like within the next couple days. do you guys see any reason not to?
This is from this morning, and its been raining and cold the past day and will continue for the next week at least, also there was a bit a mold or bud rot from water sitting too long on the buds so I find my self in a bit of urgency.
