New nute program!!!
    #621819 - 05/08/12 08:38 AM (11 years, 10 months ago)

Hey dudes, long time no talk. I've been growing about a year now and I've been mighty successful, but I want to take it to the next level. My herb is good, but it isn't GREAT like it needs to be. All I'm using at the moment is dutchmaster gold. I'm ready to take on a more in depth nute program. I want the DANK buds!! I'll be using a tent with 1600 W and an ebb and gro. Thanks!

If your growing the plants right the nutrient you use isn't going to make a difference in the quality of the buds. That change is gonna happen faster with a strain change rather then a nutrient change. The plants may grow faster but the potency is determined by the genetics.

Beautiful. I can see that. Some of the strains I've worked with we're amazing, and the one I currently have blows...

I did exactly that! I ordered some DNA L.A. Confidential, and I have 3 of those rooted in cups. I also have a Dinafem Cheese rooted and a World of Seeds Mazar rooted. ALSO, last night I ordered some Holy Grail Kush from DNA....gotta get my hands on that stuff. It is being sent with some Northern Light Blue Autoflower. I'm stoked for these results!

Flagstaff, AZ and Los Angeles. I was gonna make it up to the 2 Washington shows, as well, but I had to pay some bills. Damnit! I've seen them several times, but last year I saw them at Red Rocks with The Flaming Lips, that was intense! I was actually with FurrowedBrow at that show! We camped out for several days. Good times. Then I saw them again in October in AZ and it was quite possibly the best show I've ever been to. I've never had that much fun at a concert before. I'm hoping to relive that a couple more times next week!

Ok, back to this question....

I now have several new genetics in my garden. Some of which I know are top notch, so I've got that covered. However, I still would like to try out a new nute program some time soon. What works really well for you guys? Please, if possible, break it down for me simply....for example, how much "x" you use per gallon....

what about the bloom boosters? are those really necessary to get larger buds, and do they do what theyre supposed to?

I've used a few different lines from General Hydroponics, all of which seem to work amazing well.

I ended up sticking with Flora Duo.
veg  FD part a 6ml  FD part b 2ml
Flowering  FD part a 2ml, FD part b 6ml
Is the basic mixing.

I also use several additives and boosters.

Yes when use correctly.
However over doing it will most likely destroy a crop.

What additives are you using, Stone? And how much? That is also a huge part of what I'm interested in. I would like to throw some additives in the mix.

Honestly, money isn't even a huge issue to me if it's pretty much guaranteeing better results.

It should if you have your environment in check.
And understand ec, and that all plants don't want the same levels.

But I use liquid koolbloom starting in the second week of flowering at 8ml
Fourth, 5th week I drop that back to 4ml, and add dry koolbloom at 0.25 tsp
6th, 7th week just dry koolbloom at 0.5 tsp
I use budswell at 2ml during weeks 1-7, also carbo load at 3ml

Floralicious Plus at 1ml from first veg feeding to 7th week of flower.
I've tried the florablend from first veg feeding to 3 week of flower, but seen no need to replace that bottle.

As for the base side of life I start feeding at Part A 2ml Part b 1ml the first week or two, then step up to part a 4ml and part b 2ml for a week or so, then part a 6ml and part b 2ml for vegging plants.

First week of flower part a 4ml and part b 4ml
Second and 3rd week part a 2ml part b 4ml
Fourth to 7th week part a 2ml part b 6ml

For longer flowering plants I just continue weeks 6 and 7 feed.
I flush either with 8ml florakleen or 2ml final phrase for three days, then water for four or until just right.

Wow! That's really detailed. Sounds awesome. Something like this is definitely what I want to try. I put the Ebb and Gro away for a while and have been doing soil only, but I'm getting ready to start doing both again. Once I fire that hydro up again, I'm probably gonna try this recipe, man.
