I was just thinking it might be fun to attempt to assemble a list of all the substances I have tried over the years. I thought some of you others may like to give it a try as well.

DMT is great if you're ready for it, and extremely easy to extract (I recommend Noman's tek with a sodium carbonate wash).
Based on my experience with other opiates, heroin seems like it would feel extremely good, but be a fundamentally boring experience. Something to only do once unless you want to run an unnecessary risk of addiction.
That said, I really enjoy stimulants (well, amphetamine anyway). The fact that I'm either fucking lazy or ADD when I'm sober, and smoking pot fixes the ADD but tires me out, makes amphetamines desirable. I like that feeling of being able to get shit done without it feeling like pulling teeth.

Yeah, I agree that smoked meth is problematic when it comes to thinking about drug reform. But would people feel the need to smoke meth if they could legally get amphetamine and be a relatively productive member of society? I think that making orally-ingestable amphetamine more available might reduce the meth problem substantially.

Some weak minded people get psychologically addicted but there are no physical withdrawal symptoms, no sickness, no vomiting, no muscle aches or shitting yourself.
As said, the idea of meth addicts is ridiculous. Meth is not physically addicting and is easier to quit than weed.

Hanky, I agree with almost everything you've said about meth. Propaganda does give people an unecessarily bad view of it.
The only part I take exception to is the idea of meth addiction being patently rediculous. There may be no real physical withdrawal to speak of, I don't know about that. But I do know that years of smoking crank permanently burns out parts of the dopamine pleasure/reward system in the brain. The consequence is, once a longtime geek quits using, they simply don't have the physical capacity for satisfaction that they did before trying the drug. I think that plays a major role in the addiciton factor.

lol psychological addictions are not "easy to overcome" at least not for everyone. I've been to rehab and seen plenty of people totally fucked up from speed, and they start using as soon as they get out.

Psychological addictions are pretend addictions. They are very easy to get over if you want to get over them.
The speed freaks you are talking about don't start using again because of any addiction, they do it because they love being strung out on meth they like being high.
You'll never see a meth user shivering and sweating with gut cramps and shit in his pants planing on how to get his next hit anyway he can to stop the sickness. Meth abuse is entirely situational and driven by a desire to get high, there are no painful withdrawals always demanding more drugs.

lol i'm not disputing your point about meth not having painful withdrawls. The point is that in some users that desire to get high is so strong that it constitues addiction. When tweakers are going around removing catalytic converters from cars so they can get money for the metals in there so they can smoke more meth, thats a fucking addiction.
There are people who want to get clean from meth but constantly relapse. I don't know why your so adamant that meth is not addictive, when clearly for some people it is.

yeah it scared the shit out of me when i first tried them, cause i liked the high a little TOO much. so i just backed away while i still could. i have a verrry addictive personality

i dunno. my friend was the one that knew how to do everything with it. mixed the shit with baking soda.
he's in jail now for it. and i feel horrible about it cause i'm the one that got him back into doing coke in the first place

there is freebasing actually converts the coke into its base crystalline form (it is usually a salt). Crack is the lazy mans freebase it does pretty much the same thing except it is easier safer and more economical to make.
