methamphetamine is one of the few drugs that I think should not be decriminalized...it makes people go fucking crazy, they are a danger to others. And its not because...they need money for a fix so they mug someone, which probably happens, but what I am trying to say is strong stimulants and PCP are probably some of the only drugs that DIRECTLY make people dangerous. Thats not some kind of bullshit government propaganda either, I have seen it first hand.

Yeah, I agree that smoked meth is problematic when it comes to thinking about drug reform. But would people feel the need to smoke meth if they could legally get amphetamine and be a relatively productive member of society? I think that making orally-ingestable amphetamine more available might reduce the meth problem substantially.

That makes very little sense. I'm sure that psychedelics have very similar effects on metabolism as meth ampetamine. They both reduce appetite and keep you awake.

Occasional use of meth is as safe as any drug. Escessive use will cause problems as any drug will though meth amphetamine is not physically addictive so it's very easy to quit using it. The idea of meth addicts is patently ridiculous.
