Every day, every moment, its a constant battle, between man, plant, and beast. Every year chipmunks, deer, bunnies, and squirrels love to come knocking, looking for what I dont know, digging through the roots and soil of my plants. Its not even eating them thats really the problem, its the digging up and throwing the soil everywhere. So far I only know of two somewhat effective methods to deter them. One is making a pile of piss near the plants, the other is using cayenne pepper powder in a ring on the top soil around the pots.
Both methods have drawbacks, and one of the biggest for both of them being is that per application it only keeps them at bay for a short time, so it has to be done constantly, and in time the cayenne pepper creates a mold pile.
What do you guys recommend?

Ask Spirit Shadow about his special technique; two bricks.
They might be attracted to whatever you’re using for fertilizer.
Fucking bunnies and deer, man. They ate my seaberry saplings down to the stump, and chewed the bark off of a few of my honeyberry bushes. Best way to avoid them is probably fencing, they sell some that is 1x1 for the bottom two feet, and 2x4 for the rest. You can bury the bottom a bit so they can’t tunnel in, too. For potted plants, maybe some chicken wire?
What you stated in the title of your post might work. Some decent waterproof speakers and a sick drum track

I heard to use owl statues or pebbles on top of the dirt.
