fencing, fishing line, hair, urine, plant near water or cart water in,

once they are large enough animals tend to leav'em be...but the bugs won't. Keep them sprayed with insectiside/fungicide (preferably organic) in betweeen rain storms.

check out the pruning/training teks available here in the mj cult forum.

you should be good. I really let mother nature take care of the girls...they just need a lil nudge in the begining.

Welcome to the growery "Grow." Stick around...you could learn a lot..all the info is here.

Neem oil.  Its available at all garden centers, its sold as a concentrate, and it is very effective at keeping away tiny pests...
Me gusto.

Yeah they got it at the hydroponic store by me. What do u do? Use a foliar spray? Use only when plants are suspected of bug infestation or the whole time. How often? And only effective against bugs or what? Thanks

Keeps bugs at bay.  Its a preventive measure applied to the entire plant  every week or so during veg. Don't apply during flower. It'll keep pests away, and it doesn't smell very pleasant, so I imagine most woodland creatures don't dig it either, but I'm not an outdoor grower so I don't know.

deer and rabbits amongst other animals won't appreciate it if you pee in the general area of your grow I believe using predator pee will deter a wider array of animals. on the discover channel I've seen bits about using predator animals urine to deter other aggresive animals due to the testosterone in the urine.

you can also spread around blood meal this scares away basically any animal interested in eating your plants from what I hear.

as far as pesticides go, generally outdoors you don't need to worry about bugs nearly as much as indoors. there's birds and other insects that will seek out the bugs you should worry about. I think slugs, snails, caterpillars are the ones you should worry most about assuming they're a problem where you live. A friend of mine spreads hot pepper seeds around the base of his plants which he claims keeps the slugs from climbing up the plants.

If you have a Cabela's nearby, i'm sure they carry some over priced cougar urine. Deer won't even think about your plants when they smell that.

I should sell my brothers pee. I think it's all about testosterone levels that scare away animals or that's what the discovery channel lead me to believe.

Yeah, my brother is a roider so I can only assume he's got more testosterone in his pee than a Silver-back gorilla.
