 Being hurt without insurance

God damnit. I just fell on some dangerous hook and hurt my leg pretty bad. Its not cut but fuck its bruised and hurt. 
I need some fucking pain pillz doc, but I certainly can't afford a dr. trip AND the prescription.
No insurance sucks.

Actually prescription medications in Canada are much more expensive versus the United States.

I bet it does. Luckily your not cut so you will not get infected and it sounds as if nothing is broken. As for the pain, you will be fine... suck it up buttercup.

Agreed though, not having insurance does blow; I haven't been to a doctor or dentist in like 3+ years.
People against public health insurance need to understand this.
And anyone against public health insurance can go to hell. 
Glad it's all good though.

Hopefully the anti-poor people republicans will get their heads out of their asses and get behind the public option; and hopefully they also understand that forcing everyone to get health insurance is the only way to make it cheap. I don't give a crap about anyone saying "boo hoo we are forced to get insurance," well guess what? If you don't force everyone to pay it can't be cheap, because then people that don't want it won't buy it. And then you have a smaller number of people pay for the same amount of health benefits, so rates have to go up.
I'd also quote that private health insurance agencies have a higher amount of over head then public.
The funny thing? I've only ever debated the negative side of this topic in debate rounds (so alll I said was BLAHBLAH BLAH RECESSION BLAHBLAH COSTS TO MUCH BLAHBLAH I WIN).
It's crazy to think I'm done with debate, It's already gotten me addicted to politics and the news.
