Found out today i have this condition. ITP And i just have to be lucky enough to have all the bruises my body could take.
The whole right leg is in pain, and my calf is one HUGE purple bruise. With lots of others all over my body. They just appear from me doing nothing wake up and i got 2 or 3 more every morning. Gave me this medication(steroids) today to try and stop it, 10 pills every morning.... and blood tests once a week for the next month.
If this fails i have to get surgery, the chances are rare but possible. The Surgery being a Splenectomy
Finding that out, even though its not VERY serious, just made me realize that i need to take more care of my body.

ya you got that right, and im only 21, about to turn 22, still so young.
Im worried but all i can do is hope for the best. Stuff like this can go anyway, some cases have been found to lead to cancer. luckly enough i do not think my case is that bad. hopefully. Also to top it off my ankle is super swollen right now so going back to right now went down the drain.

Ya I had to be reminded that my body was the only one I will get and that I need to take care of it. So I try to to live healthier now.
