Ok, as many of you know my dad is starting up a seed business but lately he's been having a little bit of a problem. As many of you know he's been missing from the boards lately.

My dad is battling cancer right now. He has had 3 operations in the last month with the last one being last Wed to get a tumor removed from behind his stomach.

My dad being the psycho that he is, is more worried about getting the seeds ready and is constantly bitching while in the hospital that "all this fucking crap is taking away from my gardening time". For those of you who have grown his seeds or his cuttings you know just how into this he is. His quest for the ultimate strain will never end but those who have tried his Man Eater will know he's not to far off.

To get a idea of just what kind of a nut my dad is he sneaks out of the hospital at night, drives a hundred miles to get to his garden so he can change the nutrients in the hydro reservoirs cause "for this batch it has to be just right" and sneaks back into the hospital. He did this on Thurs the day after his surgery. He could hardly walk but if you try and stop him form getting to his garden he'll kill you.

I just wanted to let everybody know why there is a hold up on the seeds since he won't let anybody know himself because he won't look like the 40 something year old superman he thinks he is at times. and maybe a few of you can send a shout out to him to chill the fuck out and worry about his health then the gardens. :happyweed:

I kinda agree with him, if one loves there garden so much then you must push.... after all it most likely give him strength.

I have seem many old wogs die after leaving work forced into retirement it was there life and only joy on the job, even though this is not a garden it is in the same way he is... Let him be happy and do what he must... My father was the same and still alive because instead of stopping him which upsets we assisted him in every way we could.

But however in saying that one can not over exert them selfs and push the limit of life.

I have been wondering why he's been so scarce. I had thought it was because of the pftek deal...now I wish that was the case.

Magash appears to be a very mentally stong individual and that is more than half the battle when dealing with this type of illness. A mans will to live can be stonger than life itself...he doesn't come across as a quitter....he WILL pull through and if he forgets make sure you are there to remind him.

You tell him farmer joe is sendin some good healin vibes from the ole pine tree state.  Stay strong for your father.

Yeah seriously my heart goes out to the dude...  All around good guy, it sounds kind of corny but we should all make a get-well card for him, even if it's something that we passed around digitally and everyone wrote a little something.  It might mean a lot to him to know we're behind him.

Hey thanks everybody for the comments. I had some removed from a bone in my jaw which meant the loss of some teeth and the removal of some bone. Some growths in my throat that I can't even get the spelling close enough for the spell check to fix.
I got the word a few weeks ago that I had a tumor right behind my stomach and it needed to come out fast. They wanted to take it out the next week but I had some breeding experiments that I had a shitload of time into so that was out of the question. I got the surgery done last Wed and all went well.

Mini is running the gardens for a bit (she has been helping in the gardens since she could carry a watering can at the age of 2) so there will be a slight delay on the seed thing and I do mean slight cause I have way to much work into it to see things slow down now.

So thanks for all the comments and I'll do what I can to heal but stay out of the gardens, I just don't know if I have it in me to do that.:happyweed::wexican::getstoned::bonghit3::sheesha2::yinyang2:

Funny how that works huh Mag man!?

My self-help book on Anxiety, Depression, and Addiction recommends gardening as one of the best ways to keep your mind and body busy, meanwhile creating and taking care of something along the way that will reward you for your efforts.

I'm not giving up on you brother, I have faith that there will be Maneater in my outdoor garden this year, albeit not as large as my other brethren, but I can assure you that was the best weed I've EVER smoked and I MUST GROW IT!

I hope everything works out for you, as I've told you recently.  Hit me up with a :pm: when you get the chance and time.  Good luck Mag, we all LOVE you here, and wish the best for you and your family!

I'm your man if it gets outta hand! Don't think twice about chemotherapy or extra surgery if there is any reoccurance. Cheers to your chill recovery and lasting health magash! My mother endured chemo and radiation therapies which is how i first realized alternatives are much more effective and enjoyable for healing. Juicing fruits and signle day fasts is a great place to start. Omega or Champion brand juicers are the shit just get a bunch of fruit and then spend one day a week or even a month just chillin and drinking a ton of fresh juices. Doctors will not know what miracle happened, but you will.

My mother is still alive and kicking better than before she was diagnosed with 2 weeks to live almost 7 years ago!

Good luck with your health, Magash. I know thats hard to deal with, my mom has been battling a terminal illness for over 25 years, they told her she'd be ridden to a chair by 15 years in, she's still walkin' at 26 and change, she's still fightin' like a freakin' trooper.

Stay strong, man, it'll work out.

What a bummer to hear.  Hope you're feeling better and better Magash.  And a huge thank-you for answering a question of mine the other day. ~P~

Hope he gets well soon. Bring him lots of strong edibles to the hospital and he won't be driving anywhere.......then you take over the nutrients yourself.

Thanks for the comments. I have one more surgery a week from tomorrow and then it's wait and see. I've started growing full swing again. :wexican::potleaf:

Best wishes man.  I hope the surgery goes as well as possible and everything after that does too.

With that being said, I hope the plants are healthy too
