I have about a half pound of good quality trim with lots of little nugs that I am hoping to make into oil. Would 4 jars of coconut oil be good for 10 ounces of trim? Just wondering because I don't want it to be too weak.. the jars are 16oz jars. Any ideas/tips or suggestions?

If you think it may be too weak, make it stronger. Knowing the potency as well as your tolerance puts you in the best position to decide.
If you want to use less oil but need the additional liquid, you can use 190 proof everclear to aid in the extraction process. It evaporates fairly quickly in a crock pot.

I think that strong oils are not very useful. I am more of a person who uses them for cooking for instance, https://cannasos.com/news/health/to-fry-or-not-to-fry-the-best-oils-for-cooking
