I have now stretched to a 6G and I need to know how you clean them. How often should you take out your plugs to clean the holes? And what do you clean them with?

I'm at 00 right now, and I recommend waiting about 30 days to let the stretch "set", and then take them out and clean your ear with a gentle unscented soap. I soak my wood plugs and eyelets with jojoba oil every two weeks or so to keep them in good shape, but for glass, or metal jewelry I would say you should give them a good alcohol rub every week, and sleep without the jewelry in at least once a week. That'll keep the ear funk from happening.
I also recommend staying away from acrylic or cheap plastic because the plastic starts to break down over time, and will get gross...also, the cheap pieces will get ridges, rough edges, and generally harbor more bacteria than pieces made of metal, glass, stone, or wood.
Porous stone or wood pieces do require a little extra care, but my ears don't have any of the nasty smell that people with gauges often experience.

The bigger the size, the more often you need to clean them (from what i remember). Daily swabs with a tissue can work.
I really miss being at a half inch size but it got annoying sometimes when they fell out during sex.

Falling out during sex? Thats new. I wont go any bigger than a four. Im waiting to stretch in july. When i tapered the first time from an 18 to a 12 that wasnt bad. But i got stupid and mercilessly gauged from a 12 to an 8 in an hour. Bled and everything.  now that I am a six I will be taking things more slow.

I kept it out for a day. Ive been at the ocean so the salt water helped it heal. Like I said, I wont be attempting another stretch anytime soon. Im already pushing it at work, they said only one size bigger.
