when i was in high school i had to sneak out so i could buy an oz from a friend then smoke for a while. so anyway it was toward the end of the night, maybe 2-3am and i finish up and head back to the house, I'm walking. I'm one block away and start to get paranoid and decide the best thing to do is hide the bud outside some where.
i find this bush a few house away and stash it all the way in towards the ground. the next morning i head over to the bush so i can go smoke with a friend before school and i find a little more then a half fucking soaked with all the morning dew. it was fucking shitty. i let it dry out for a few days but it just wasn't the same.

dude, i live in a college town too. i have for the past 4 years. i've never been searched. not my car, not my person. and i've even got a hippie car running on biodiesel, with a bumper sticker professing my membership in the local biofuel co-op.
maybe your town is just more uptight or something.

FLOWERY BRANCH, Ga. -- Michael Vick said Thursday that the water bottle seized two months ago by authorities at Miami International Airport was a jewelry box.

Falcons QB Michael Vick told members of the media he's had jewelry stolen from hotel rooms on a number of occasions.
Vick came under scrutiny in January after police said the seized water bottle smelled of marijuana and had a secret compartment, but lab tests found no evidence of drugs. Speaking publicly for the first time since the incident, the Atlanta quarterback said the bottle was a hiding place for earrings and jewelry.
"I have had that bottle for years, for a long time," Vick told reporters gathered for the Falcons' announcement about the trade of Matt Schaub, Vick's backup.
"If you had seen the bottle, you would have never known there was any jewelry in there," he said. "I have had things stolen out of hotels. But I had never checked it through the airport."
The Miami-Dade Police Department disagreed with Vick's description of the situation.

Having furniture that has secret stash spots always came in handy. Like the specially made end tables that open from the top. Damn i miss my old one

I could tell you where my hidden super secret cache of drugs is, but then I'd have to kill you. Or hide it somewhere else.
In my old car there was a great stash spot for storing things in vials or prescription medicine bottles.
In the home, awhile ago I'd use vents or hang my stash on the back of a desk drawer.
Anymore, though, I have to be intensely creative. In the event of getting searched (god forbid) the po-po's don't stop at anything to find what they're looking for. I've read enough stories about cops tearing a house apart and checking places you would think they'd miss.
And those stash cans - I've seen a few news reports mentioning seized drugs being found in stash cans. LEOs have to know about them, hell they're even sold at head shops so they can't be that uncommon. If "they" want to find what they're looking for, and it's stored in a stash can, they won't stop until they've searched the whole pantry or wherever you keep it.

I used to have one of those stash cans and there good if used right. Putting it in the drink holder of your car right by a opened Pepsi etc. would look better than leaving it by itself...

boy the lengths i went to hide pot when i was 14/15
I had an old BOSS guitar pedal
I never used the thing so i unscrewed it and took out the insides. From the inside i plugged up the holes where the cables would go in to prevent as much smell leakage. Id stash my pot/pills in there, leaving the "motherboard" of the thing on top so that if it were to be opened, it would still just look like the insides of it
guess i was pretty thorough 
anything worth doing is worth doing right? probably excessive but. I think it was almost as much fun hiding it as it was smoking it

I've had a bunch of stash cans, but they always got super beat up. I mostly just keep a couple of joints in my bra if I absolutely have to hide it (which is rare).

Fuck, you guys suck at hiding shit.
When I used to grow mushies at home, I'd have to stash everything really well - all the time.
For my supplies, I modified some speakers so that they would still work fine, but they would stash all of my supplies in them and would open and close with a little trick.
For incubating my jars, I put them in a working computer.
For fruiting, I setup a string of LEDs inside a working (large) CD player and would fruit them in vitro inside the CD player.
It was so good, that when I moved out, my parents donated all of my stuff to the local salvation army - and my supplies were still all hidden in the speakers.
When my mom told me she donated the speakers, I broke out laughing for a good half our. They weren't big speakers, either, just 12 inch x 6inch x 6inch. Amazed no one noticed the extra weight - ha!
I'm good at hiding shit.

When you pull out a drawer there's a bunch of room on the actual back of the drawer to tape things, I ended up installing a little tray there.
Inside a tape deck.
I sliced a hole into that netting stuff under my mattress and put stuff up there.
I ruined some nice speakers trying to turn them into a stash spot, I don't recommend trying that.

Back when I was a noob to drinking and smoking, I decided it would be awesome to move my bed into the closet (with the doors open).
Unfortunately, I didn't measure my bed frame. It wasn't wide enough between the wall and windowsill...being really high and drunk at the time, I said "Well, I'll just force it."
The result was a giant hole in my wall. It always pissed me off, so I put a cardboard cutout ninja turtle over the hole.
Recently, I took out the ninja turtle, reached up inside the hole, and used a push pin to stick my bag in the wall. Put the turtle back. Can't see the hole, and my stash is really well hidden.

The only foolproof spot of my youth was in the closet and then duct taped to the part of the wall that's above and behind your head when you look into your closet.. I once hid a gun up there for a few days lmao, right next to the machete that I still use for home protection.
Also inside the the speakers of a boom box, the kind with the removable mesh covers.
Today my only two spots are on my desk and in my lungs.
