I see what your saying - gentler is the way to go?
I had heard that it's possible to just freeze your clippings overnight and then shake them (with no dry ice added) in the bag - sort of a twist on the classic hand sifting approach. I'd imagine that'd produce purer hash with less veg - plus no dry ice required.
I'll give it a try in the next couple days and see how it works. Anyone try this method?
So I placed some dry material in the freezer overnight and then ran it through a 150 micron bag without using any dry ice. The results?
It works! Granted it yielded less than if I had used dry ice but it was definitely a more pure material. Much less veg material in the final product. I'll try and post some pictures tonight.
