10C is cold man... hypothermia can hit you between 0 and 10C :smile: our bodies generally don't like that temperature.

Yeah no kidding, it usually hits -25 to -30 here each winter, which is -34 Celsius I believe.

pretty sure only the North or South pole can reach that low lol. At that temperature you would get frost bite in about 20seconds if you didn't have super warm gloves or something on

Cars don't like it I'll tell you that.  The state record is -63 I think...  People adapt pretty well.

Well I guess I could be wrong but -70F = -50C which is something I can definitely wouldn't want to experience

We have some nasty ass winters up here, you get the wind coming down from Canada and the snow and the temp can just drop in minutes and turn into what is called a whiteout or blizzard very fast. My first winter in this place was one of the worse on record and I keep asking myself what the hell am I still doing here lol.

I'd agree with you on anything but temperature.

However temperature is pretty hard to "not make sense."

I have never used it and I have never attempted to use it, so naturally its strange to me. But only because I don't know what something like 80F is in relation to C.

Also, I don't know the history behind it so I don't know why they started using those units for temperature, so it all seems kinda arbitrary to me :shrug:

if I remember right you take the degrees in F and subtract 32 from it to get the C, this is the easy way if I remember right but not dead on accurate.

Tf = 9/5*Tc+32

Tc-32 = 5/9*Tf

I think.

I know the top one is right.

I just flipped the shit around for the second part.
