Ok so two seeds are sprouted above soil now. Running three 26w CFL's 24/7.
Is this too much light?
Waiting on 4 others to sprout, which should happen very soon, and this morning two more seeds popped open so I planted them in soil and watered.

Bought a thermometer, Mylar and a bottle of FF Big Bloom. Mixed 1/2 tsp into a gallon of distilled water and dunked my seedlings in it.
Lookin pretty badass. That reflective film looks so friggin cool!

When I first put mine up, it looked like I was going to start growing inside a frickin' spaceship! :hoveringufo:

Question about the seed soaking: So wait, you are using Big Bloom, a nutrient mix used for flowering, for soaking your seeds in? Where did you learn that trick? What's the benefit of having those nutrients inside the seed?

WAIT NO NO NO! I am using GROW BIG! My bad hahaha. But yeah I fill up a cup with nutrient enriched water, take the jiffy pot and dunk it down in there.
Seems to be working perfect. The dunk method, for watering :]

Well its for vegitative stages of growth. On the bottle it said 1/2 tsp per gallon for seedlings, which is the stage my babies are in right now. So I suppose by the time they are in full veg they will be growing super duper strong. When full veg comes around in a week or so, I am going to add one more half tsp to the gallon and start feeding them regular dosage of nutes.
SO FACKING STOKED! Dude I wish we could just visit each other and help out with each others shit hahaha. Same goes with everyone else on this website. I love this place!

Ok so for a while my plants were getting yellow and droopy and not looking like they were going to make it.
Well I finally got a fan setup to get some air flow in there and turned off two of the lights, also watered them with some Grow Big fertilized water (1/2 tsp) and in the passed three days since watering they are looking better! Still a little yellow and the tips on one plant look like they have been burned with a lighter or something.
Should I cut those tips off? I will have my camera back on friday will post pictures then.

I am going to try and post some pics soon for sure. They are growing so fucking fast!
One plant seems a little droopy though, again. Today is watering day...maybe I should leave that one alone for another day or two before I water?

I have a friend who wants to sell me one of his mature plants (only needs about two more weeks of 12/12 light he said) for twenty bucks. He said I could chop it right now and probably get an ounce.
If I did do this, would I be able to store my babies in a warm, dark closet for a couple weeks while I turn my lights to 12/12?

Why on earth would he want to sell you an ounce worth of weed on a live plant for only $20? That seems to me like he's being a major fucking sketch-ball. only 2 more weeks of work and he's got $400 worth of weed, why on earth would he be trying to get rid of it for so cheap?

He is moving out and has literally nowhere to put his plants. He has nothing he can do with them, so he is willing to sell me ONE of his plants for twenty bucks.
Idk what hes going to do with the other ones, probably just chop em up before they are done.
