Definitely a time and a place for each. Sativa makes a great day smoke, but if I'm just home posting on the Growery before bed, I love a stoney indica.

and to be honest if I am awake i prefer to go fast

I've been puffing Sour D. in the A.M. Just got some Grape Sour D. so that will be on the menu for a while. Also Blue Dream at night with various hash/kief/oil. I'm killing this headstash and not getting shit for studying done

"a fine sprinkling of keif"  awesome... how do you sift your keif? I used to have a nice keif grinder but I gave it away, so know I've been using a coffee grinder and a paint brush. I've seen these quick hash methods using an iron and plastic or parchment paper do they work well?

I have a grinder with a kief catcher screen...its very handy and I'm getting a pretty good amount built up in there. I don't make hash from it b/c there's too much plant material that makes it through the screen in addition to the trichome heads, but I do love to sprinkle it on a bowl...especially since the kief I have represents about 4 different strains right now.

The only grinder I use is the Volcano one because they cost $2 and work at least as well as any metal grinder I've ever used.
Before I grind up my bud I keep it in a Wicca box, and I highly reccomend them to anyone who likes "A fine sprinking of keif".
Mine's broken now but while it lasted it was grand. Oh and DO NOT buy the stupid keif pill presses, total waste of money. All it does is squish your keif into a flat disc that you later have to break back up to smoke.. Only useful if you're shaking down pounds of trim and want to sell the keif instead of making hash..?
