Nomination Thread- Grow Log of the Year! * 1

Grow Log of the Year

As this website grows we're seeing a fantastic progression of the growing abilities of our members. As such, the moderators decided to have a little competition to showcase the talents of our community :smile:

The competition will consist of two categories;
   
            -Grow Log of the Year

    The best overall grow log from start to finish for 2009. We're pretty flexible on the dates because we want this category to include as many nominees as possible. Grow logs started in 2008 but harvested during 2009 are acceptable, and the nomination date is set for the end of march to include grows that are still in progress right now.


            -Grow Room of the Year

    Best overall grow setup on the Growery. The criteria is open in this category, most light, nicest ventilation, whatever you feel is most impressive. Once again, be very liberal with the nominations as we want as many entries as possible.


       
What to include in nominations- 
  • Category you're nominating for
  • Username of the person who you're nominating
  • Link to the thread it came from
  • A sample picture would be nice.

1st Prize- FREE one year Supporter account!
2nd Prize- FREE six month Supporter account!

Furrowedbrow nominated a grow that was unfinished, so I'm assuming this is kosher. I know this isn't as cool as some of the indoor setups but this particular grow does not cease to impress me:

For Room of the Year I actually have 2 nominations, I know this probably isn't allowed, but if no one has any nominations they'd like to make - maybe they could nominate one of these two to make it legit:

Even though Shakalaka is using a grow tent, I think his setup is fucking perfect. It's clean and well thought out. Not only that, but he obviously has put some effort into making his grow tent as effective as possible as you can see by all the external ventilation work he's done. It also just looks cool.

The log i nom'd is inverteds and is still in progress.  Today's day 53 of flower for him.  Harry set the rules to allow some flexibility regarding the dates of completion.  nice noms Spency!

You also forgot to update the main post to state that I am also throwing in an unmodified stanley blower.  All users (excluding mods) will be thrown in a hat, a random name will be drawn, and that person will receive the blower if they want it (if not another name will be drawn).

Well I haven't sat down and gone through all the grow logs so I wont nominate one yet. I do want to second FurrowedBrow's nomination of coda's grow cab. I think it is one of the most elegant and efficient designs I have seen. It's not the most, biggest or highest yielding but it is exactly what it is supposed to be. It also speaks volumes that other users point at it when the 'how do I set up my grow cab?' question comes up.

Off to check out some logs.

hmmm I don't think that one is going to be allowed, sorry.  That's quite an awesome looking picture, but that thread is just a couple pictures, not an actual grow log

I would highly suggest nominating that picture for POTM however :thumbup:
