this is planned to be a soil grow, but heat is my question.
it is naturally very hot and humid here, especially now. its 30-37C in the day (shade is no different) and fairly humid. the other issue is the house styles here are far from air tight and dehumidifiers and air conditioners are not exactly efficient (ie dont work great).
my question is, if given open space for growing (not a box), is this heat ok? i know they would prefer cooler, but will this do?
the idea is to start the seeds and veg them until october when it starts to dry out and cool off (dont want moldy buds).
light will be light through the windows (little less than a greenhouse) and CFLS for when the sun goes down.
30 C (86 F) would be as high as i would like it honestly. If your growroom hits 37 C (98 F) consistently you're going to run into some problems. Constructing a box and cooling it with a window AC unit would make it efficient, that would be your best bet if your central AC can't help keep your room cool.
yah, your plants need to breathe, that is important. But they also need to be comfortable too. They will grow in high temps, they just won't produce as well if you can keep the temps in the optimal range.
