i just saw this old ass episode that i remembered seeing a while ago. it pissed me off so bad. any of you seen the one where they take an 18-wheeler full of vcr's(it's pretty old but they rerun it) and stereos and leave it unattended and unlocked in the middle of the ghetto and when all the kids come to check it out they bust em. that's fucked. sorry that just really got to me. anybody seen it?

that's what i thought. the kids jump  up in the back and the cops have like a trap door they pop out of and tackle the kids. then they all start highfiving with their mullets and acid wash cut off jeans shorts

sidenote: i've got 2 friends becoming cops, one in the police academy. they both work as bouncers at a local bar... they verified all cops are dirty. some are just a little dirty, and some are very dirty. they both do illegal things for money (let people in the bar who are under 21 for money, or sell back IDs they take up for money).

i have another friend that works for our local police department (not an offical cop but he wears a uniform and writes parking tickets). he sells steroids.

yeah sorta, it's campus police. so if you don't have the proper parking pass, etc.

Bamboo poles, most times.

Very few cops carry guns here... The only guns I've seen are with one security company than runs money to and from banks. They have a couple guys with vests, helmets and a shotgun each.

I've also seen one, maybe a couple more cops with a pistol. Not a regular cop, though. Leg holsters FTW.

Embassies (US, etc) have huge cement walls, barbed wire and a couple Chinese soldiers outside standing still and with a holstered pistol or rifle (semi auto, not from this era).

Seen a few (maybe 2 groups of five) military just marching around and carrying a holstered pistol for an officer and a shiny (looks decorative, semi auto rifle, the same as mentioned above - definitely not something they use for shooting)

And... I do hear that in other cities they have more guns. Don't need them in Shanghai, really.

The episode that pissed me off was the one where the cop pulls over a guy in a van for not signaling a turn and finds about half a roach in the ashtray. he actually arrests the guy, handcuffing him even, and acts like he saved the world. :mad:

I saw a video a while back of some cops taking a bunch of bicycles for no reason.  The bikes were the locals' and were all chained up and they brought a truck to take them.  can't find it now, though.  :nonono:

haha one time i was smoking on top of a strip mall roof and i had my bike down where i could see it, it was the middle of the night and i was still in highschool. Welll the cop took my fucking bike for some reason and i had to get it from the police station. Pretty sure the cop heard me and my friend geeking out on top of the roof so he just took my nice bicycle
