Anyone ever used this stuff for joint aches or arthritis? Apparently a lot of medically important contents in that bird. Curious how it would take oil added or another extract.

I made a cbd salve with blue emu in it. Have yet to try it though but this dude says it works pretty well.
I am guessing something in the emu oil is what makes it penetrate deep.

That's awesome. I can never see videos from my phone. I'll have to see it later. How much oil/kief/water hash you reckon it'll absorb per ounce of blue emu?

I dont think the blue emu by itself would absorb it. I used the tek above using 15-20 grams beeswax,1.5 cups canna coconut oil, 2 oz of blue.emu (half the canister) the bud amount for the.oil was 1 ounce bud and.1-2 ounces of.trim.

Emu oil is known to be a deep penetration oil. Hence why people use it in topical applications (not just with cannabis). Why don't you just leave this thread. You are not even helpful.

i hear krill oil is real good for the heart too.. yall wanna be chemist tryna take the holistic approach cuz u think growing a bit of weed and using the net to develop hypothesis makes you pros

No. You would extract the THC/CBD from the bud into the oil and then topically apply the oil to wherever its needed.

It's not a new practice. People have been using animal fats all over the world and this bird has been used for more than meat for a very long time. It has benefits the oils you suggested don't. Imagine a salve that penetrates deep into fucked up muscles to deliver the cannabinoids.

After doing some basic reading I ended up ordering some pure emu oil to put in some of the salves I'm going to make. I heard that the unactivated thc works better so I'm going to make some coconut oil with cannabis, comfrey, arnica, hops, chammomeal, and maybe a few other herbs. Not all at once, maybe some super salves, not sure.

Ok, I'll see about making it into a lotion, it might be easier to use an emulsifier wax and whip the oil with water.
