 First adventure in Oils

I was planning on doing a butane run, but was having difficulty finding supplies, mostly a good butane.
So P-O inspired me to run some trim (left over from last year's outdoor) yesterday with ISO.
About a liter volume of trim (didn't weigh it), stems and all, and a liter of 70% iso, soaked for a half hour:
Initially had it evaporating in a shallow cookie sheet but it was going really slow, so rigged up this double boiler when it was about halfway:
Down to about 1/8th volume and starting to get milky:
The finished product:
The yield seems very poor (the ball is about the size of a chickpea) but damn is it strong. A little flake will do you good. I think its enough for about 15-20 sessions, so overall I'm satisfied with my first go. Next time I am going to use 95% instead of 70% iso, and try and wring out the trim to get all that good stuff... I just poured it out and then dumped the soaked trim in the fire. Smelt good for about 2 seconds.
