I'm starting this as a thread for some theoretical talk for those random thoughts that come about and need to be discussed with different minds to help integrate different perspectives into full understanding to help make decisions to better the outlook of your actions to gain balance and mental stability.
I'm just leaving this open for now until needed...
Anybody can start discussion if they need to.

P-O is right, it was the egg. Dinosaurs laid eggs long before chickens even existed. As for which cam first out of the egg, and the first egg laying animal, probably the first egg laying animal. One must remember that even insects lay tiny eggs, and probably did it long before any larger animal.
I don't know which would have come first, but tracing it back this far brings up other difficulties such as asexual reproduction. Would the fist animal/bacteria to lay eggs have been derived from asexuality?
