I don't smoke the ashes once it gets that low, but I hate when you pass thebowl to someone and they try hitting it and bitch that it's cashed/ash it'slike, did you not look at the fucking bowl? not that hard ot tell if theres still weed.
Usually when it gets down to that point I ask outloud if anyone wants to smoke the ash. It's always the kid that never has weed that calls dibs too hahah

Back when I was first smoking I would ghost my hit most of the time and Would try to get every hit out of the bowl. I wouldn't care if I got ash in my pipe.
Man I have come a long ways.

As long as the herb is properly broken up it burns on it's own to the point where you catch a mouth of ash on the last pull. It sucks when people stuff bowls with chunks of weed and just catches fire when you light it.

Im a huge weed waster... i usually pack a bowl.. smoke most of it, and leave the rest. Pack a few one in a hour, repeat.
I very rarely smoke it to the ashes.

I like to pack them in there as tight as possible and cook thoroughly until there is only ash left.

I don't pack big bowls anymore, especially with friends; sick of people blasting the whole greens of a big bowl not clearing the hit and then putting the cherry'd bowl back in the downstem so it all tastes like asshole.
I pack as big of a snap as I can take and always end up snapping it. Therefore you always get a greens hit, and a few snaps leaves me more content than big bowls.

ive done it all, depending on the amount of weed/money i had...but recently i just do snaps like tahp
a few one hitters and im primed, it saves you from nasty burnt bowls too
