 what to do with free mycellium

Got a lil filter bag with a small brick of myc and a couple shrooms growing today.
Wonderin if i should put it in a terrarium or pick everything and spawn to more?
Been so long since i grew shrooms.
Maybe make a spore print or lc?

Ive never done agar.
Ive heard its best. Do the petri dish and gtg transfers in like quart jars if i remember right?
I dont have a hood though. Just a cheap lil glovebox i made.

I have heard people using glove boxes (built right) without any problems.
There are many ways to colonize agar.A drop from a spore syringe or LC,a single colonized piece of grain,wedge of my mycelium from another petri dish, etc.

My concern is i have no agar and im pressed for time.
Ill prolly pick the first flush today.
Ive made lcs before. Maybe i take a biopsy of a shroom i pick and clone it to an lc then use that to start agar?
Im just gonna need to order stuff...sigh
Just tryin to work with what ive got for now...
I have a lot of coir.

Agar is the shit. You could simply save a shroom and reanimate that tissue later.
I started off this way using a simple SAB and Lysol. Then, once you isolate myc, transfer to WBS, and spawn with coco.

i used to do a lot of agar work in a tiny closet in and old house i lived in. tiny closet! id go in there and spray a shitload of lysol and close the door. come back half an hour later and get to work, and do everything extremely fast. i rarely ever got a contamination.
if i were you OP, i would fruit out what you have since its in the fruiting stage, have your agar ready to use, and find a few nice mushrooms to clone. tissue transfers to the agar, grow it out, isolate if you want, transfer to grain, grow it out, then G2G to jars/bags.
good times. i miss growing mushrooms.

Thats pretty much what i want to do but i need to order agar and dont know how long itll take.
Do tissue samples have to be off a fresh picked shroom?
Worst case scenario ill just spore print.

No, you can reanimate dry tissue. The inside of the stipe is what I prefer.
