In case you all have not herd the silk road has been siezed by the feds are man who started it all is under arrest! What does this mean to people who purchased and sold on the site? Are more arrest on there way? Link 1link 2

I have to admit I have been on the site but never bought or sold anything. I always thought its best to work face to face with most things

Wow.
Is it just me, or am I the only one who didn't know what the silk road was? I feel like one of the uncool kids in school for not knowing such a site existed. This absolutely amazes me.

i never trusted the site..... it was too open "hey look at us we sell illegal drugs".... i was too paranoid to use it .
I looked at pictures and prices many times tho

It was a legit site and had quality drugs, never been ripped off. Security was tight too, but the alleged owner slipped up. He was advertising on diff drug sits under the same username, just days after the site surfaced, Can't believe he wasn't caught sooner. Also, the first of those sites he advertised on was the shroomery and shroomery was mentioned multiple times in the criminal complaint. Supposedly shroomery had a gag order for a few posters info.
Also, there are other sites that sell drugs as well, cheaper too if I'm not mistaken. Also, anyone who buys bitcoins, keep an eye on the value, it should drop pretty low here soon and when other sites start gaining popularity my prediction is the value will skyrocket.
This bust stops nothing, black market will always be there.

what if the guy was just a fall guy? I used to frequent the SR forums last year and DPR doesn't come off as the kind of guy who would become careless about the operation. Then again we are only humans

this whole story is fascinating to me. so much that we'll never know. DPR is our Heisenburg lol. he's gotta be the biggest drug kingpin ever, he ran an international organized crime ring. the guy is a fucking genius! sadly, i'm guessing they're going to throw the book at him and give him life. i feel really bad for the guy. dont believe everything you read or hear online about this whole thing either. who knows if that hit was real. this is such a big story that some of it is going to be fuckery.

From what I read on the Sr forum is this guy is the "orignal" dpr. Not the current one.
