i thought it was a gimmick from seeing it in the hydro shop, but reading grow reports and 2lbs per 1kw bulb is modest yields in these things. people are pulling 9lbs on some grows witht these things using 2x 1kw bulb. thats insane. here i was thinking that 1lb on a 600w was big pimpin, 4.5lbs on 1kw????? HOLY SHIT THATS A LOT OF WEED

they're just under $6000. thats nothing though if you're growing weed. thats an extra two pounds and you'd make more than an extra two pounds by using that thing for the first run. only prob is you gotta clone into rockwool. i have never been a big fan. and you'd have to have enough mothers to keep up with 300ish clones per run.

I think I could get more yield out of a room with 2 1000 watt lamps personally if you had the room, but that damn thing is pretty big...
If it used 1 600 I would look in to it, but 2 600 or 2 1000...I try to watch my energy consumption, and that's too much for me.

a bump, eh? i've got a LOT of pictures from a guy who did one of those grow ops, but with four or so of those things. not even going to try to look for it though. sorry. those things would be cool to mess with for sure. lots of room required it seems like.
