I just don't like how anti-religion he is. I'm cool with anarchists, and I'm cool with poking fun at hardcore religious nuts. But he just seems to have an issue with religion in general.
He's decent though, I mean I enjoy watching his show. Just sometimes he annoys me when he seems intolerant.

Bill Maher is alright. He makes me laugh  (I think Kevin Smith has been on the show a few times)
I pretty much agree with a lot of his views but not all. Religion has seriously curbed human progress. So I can't blame him on being so anti religious
My favorite thing about his show though. Is how on point he is when exposing the ridiculousness of this country. Especially when it comes to the insanity of politics. He also brings some pretty cool people on there. That otherwise I might have not have known about.

I've never watched over time I've always wanted to check it out, I will this week.
I love Real Time though. Bill Maher is the fucking shit. I watch every week. 
Last week, when he was talking about how the feds raided Oaksterdam, he said he was glad his check to Obama bounced.  
He made a big deal about how he donated one million dollars to Obama's super-pac a couple weeks ago.

Yeah I understand that view on him. I think he is just so fed up with the bullshit that organized religion can create that it comes out as intolerance. Don't get me wrong, I know that religion can be good in communities as well.

Oh yea, I can't really "blame" him to much about it either. So much organized religion is just moronic-hive-minded BS, but being against it in general seems just so odd. I mean when there is no proof that something doesn't exist why feel the need to speak out against it, the same reason I don't speak out against atheists because there is no proof that the divine do exist. It's the very nature of religion, and belief systems in general.
But I still like his show, and agree with a lot of what he has to say.
I mean fuck the DEA, like seriously. I want them all to burn in a fire and die.
Preferably a marijuana fire.

Well the reason he is so outspoken against it, is because they are so outspoken. It's fine to have your beliefs. I fully support that. But a lot of them try time and again to push there beliefs on the rest of us. That's one of the reasons why he's against it in general.

In my opinion other people being douchebags isn't an excuse though to be a douchebag to everyone with the same beleifs as douchebags.
By the same logic I should be a douchebag to all atheists because there are people like him, I'm just as against asshole christians as he is because as a general rule. I. Hate. Douchebags.
