You are ignorant if you think Obama has the 1)the ability to clean up anything, and 2)the desire or a reason to do so.
Democrats are making just as much crooked money off of energy as Republicans, but keep towing that party line and being apologetic to corporate "progressives"

Historically, a good president is one that doesn't screw the country up worse than it already was when he got into power.
Rick Perry and Mitt Romney make Obama look like a saint. Obama is a pussy for sure, and that sucks for America, but one can imagine that after getting kicked in the face as many times as he has, he has got to have learned a thing or two.
ehh.... He just needs to get enough temporary measures through to see him to 2012. I know that, he knows that, and the republicans know that. If he can do that, he can potentially ride that wave to take over the house / all of gov, at which point he can once again do whatever the fuck he pleases, which at the very least would include a lot of good social programs and job spurring (without invading a sovereign nation).

Hope im not offending you hippo, but it just seems like everything good that I hear about obama is ether "wow did you see that speech..." Or "he finally tackled the color barrier this country has suppressed for bla blah...". Offcourse the medi care bill eliminating ceilings was a radical change(the kind he promissed all term long)
And historically a good president? I can only think of like 5-6 of those. Now if you mean Obama is above average, then I compleatly agree. He did keep fuck ups to a minimum:)
Ofcourse, im no political fanatic, just a citizen who follows general current events.
