The original poster means how do you stop the light from coming out from where the fan pushes air out :p

You can usually just put a "light trap" which is just bending the ducting in a sharp "U" shape or "S" shape. or you can buy special things to do it. I just bend my ducting until I see no light coming out of it :thumbup:

Huh? Light doesn't go through an online fan or a blower type fan..maybe a little but you'd need some bright ass light for that shit to bother anything even then its probably fine. Bending a pipe 45 degree cuts the air flow by like 50 percent.

With no bends in my duct, my light comes out ever single place that there is ducting. 1000 watt light will travel quite a bit. I've never really had a problem with a blower, but the inline fans do let a lot of light through.
