so i went with azshroomers tek and built myself an aero cloner http://www.growery.org/forums/showflat.php/Number/249470#249470
well i couldnt find everything to his specs. so i was hoping someone could tell me how the mist should look... if theres too much pressure in the tubes would it be more of a spray or should it be a fine mist?
i could only find a pump that puts out 1490gph so i used 1in pvc and a larger container. i believe its a 45 gallon container. it holds 72 2inch net pots. yeah so i used 25 mister heads on the pvc instead of w.e he used but i was thinin if the mist isnt right i could drill a few holes in the pipe leading to the pump and drop the pressure in the pvc.
plus does anyone know if its supposed to be on all the time, or for 15 minutes every hour or what. i dont think he said.
thanks everyone! can get pics if need be.

The only problem I've had with these aerocloner teks is that I'm never going to have a need for any more than a dozen to MAYBE 15 clones at any one time...
I'm gonna be making one of the Vegging/cloners here in the next few days. I'm going to try to find slightly larger pucks (maybe 3 inch?), and put 15-20 sites in it, for a SOG grow...
I'm also quite interested in how long the timer should be set for... The other Tek there (This one) said that his was set for 1 min on 4 minutes off, but you could set if for longer if you had the fogger he had. But with just the sprayers, it seems to me that you'd want them on for longer than that, wouldn't you?

Just did my 1st clones in an EZ Cloner. Ran 24/0, only turned it off to change water.Did that every other day.
Seems to me all that turning off and on would not be good for the pump.JMO

My friend bought this cloner off ebay for like 70 bucks, worked perfect for him.
Probably alot cheaper to make, but his money not mine.

Yea, you could totally make that for $40 or less! Very cool though, and I might utilize something like that for my mothers or something (i'd have to add an airstone, but meh..)...
But back to the timer question... anyone else want to add something? I would like to hear from someone who's used an aeroponics setup... I'm not tryin' to screw up my first batch of clones! Lol

The pump runs 24/7 for aeroponic cloners. At least in both brands that I carry.
