the people may be slightly annoyed if you dont update, but id say you owe it more to your friend, especially if hes the one thats payed the bills and made your business plan a reality.

i didn't even realize people did this kinda stuff. Sounds like a bad idea alll around to me. I wouldn't post a video on utube of my grow unless it's ok on a federal level. im paranoid though.

But Pandor, I think your subscribers would appreeciate the follow through. Getting that amount of subscribers is not an easy task. But they are your groupies. IMO, you owe no one anything. Specially people you do not know. Your friend, well I am guessing you two made some kind of promises to one another on roles to be played in this adventure, no? Just speculating. But since he did make this happen for the both of you, you may wanna at least fulfill your end?
Can I ask what you argued about that got you to this point?

Well I'm a big advocate for doing what you when you want too but leaving your friend just cause you're not feeling it wouldn't be a nice thing to do. Especially since that dude is taking care of the majority of the grow from what I read in your post.

Far as I'm concerned fuck your followers. If you feel uncomfortable about something, or something you once loved is becoming something you hate, get back to doing what made you happy in the first place.
I now try to take at least two weeks off between flowering cycles because growing become more of a chore then a hobby. It got to the point where I'd drag my feet doing certain things because I'd be spending a ton of time with the plants each night. Now, when I take those few weeks off, I look forward to the flowering cycle and getting plants going again. I don't cringe every time I hear my HID fire up and fans kick in and look forward to popping my head in to the grow cab to check up on my plants.
You can always get more followers, you can get more subscribers, you can make more videos. I just feel like you, as a person, should care about your own well being first most of the times. It's nice to think of others, but unless you got into growing to impress anonymous people on the internet, you should do what's right for you.

I'm not sure what you mean by "leaving" my friend.
I just don't feel like doing videos and the videos were for him mostly.
Also, I'm not sure why you think he is taking care of the majority of the grow. He got the money, and he helps when you ask him to, but my significant other and I do most of the work. We are the ones that fill the reservoir, make the nutrients, water the plants, trim the plants and do the daily work. He got the majority of the money as a loan, and he moved us out here. Not saying that's not something because that was huge. But to say takes care of the majority of the grow wrong.
I did make a video earlier today, but I haven't uploaded it. It's really not a big deal but at the same time Coda made a good point. My heart isn't in it lately. So there is one argument that it's really not much work to make a video and I owe my subscribers and/or my friend. The other argument is that you have to follow your heart and your instincts and put your own well being first.

Pandor I watched all your videos after I saw this thread and was thoroughly impressed, you have the nicest rooms I have seen to date, especially that flower room damn! do what ever makes you happy, but starting something and finishing it completely is a good trait to have...

Thanks for the compliment.
The 2 videos I made today are not long, I went to upload them today and it takes way too long. I never realized how long it takes to upload a 2 minute video. I think it takes extra long because my friend went out and purchased a high def camera.
I couldn't be away from my warlock that long.
I think I am going to start an upload when I go to sleep and do the second when I wake up. I could edit them together first, but fuck it, my warlock needs glyphs.....
We (significant other and I....other 2 are out of town for a week....must be nice to take a vacation.....)
Anyway, we spent hours working on the plants tonight. We pulled each plant out and inspected it carefully for mildew and trimmed. It seems one plant has really been lost to it, and the others seem very healthy, with the exception of a few bad leaves. I'm a perfectionist and just this annoys me to no end. I'm afraid of infection and it's better to be paranoid....but things like this make me not want to make more videos.
I rant.....I need to smoke, I'm angry.

I mean, I understand not wanting to make the videos, but hell, it really only takes 10ish weeks of flower plus whatever you veg for. Weekly updates aren't really needed, but bi weekly, thats only 5 videos, plus 1 or 2 during veg, plus a harvest/after harvest. So, only 10 videos or so.

Damn... its when I find threads like this that makes me wish I had more than just my phone to access the growery with. I usually stay out of TSL because pages take so long to load, I only want to be reading pertinant information.
But anyways, I completely agree with coda, that your heart should totally be in what you're doing, and if you don't want to make videos, then don't! On the other hand, I really liked em. It showed how well your grow is going, and keeps giving me hope that I can pull off finding an investor like that. I actually have someone who's told me once I show him a good product, he MIGHT invest 10k into getting a place to grow at, but I still have more equipment to buy before I can even start my grow...
