i am doing my taxes tomorrow and it will take me quite awhile, with W-2's, 1099's, and 1098's and deductions to itemize.
has anyone completed their taxes, about to complete their taxes , or waiting until the last minute?
owe or refund?

I adhere to the philosphy that unless your refund equals your deductions, you owe.
I do owe, for the first time ever. My wife and I finally made enough money to actually owe federal taxes, and boy does it suck.

we are receiving a grand from federal and one hundred from state, its all about those deductions.

Run own business or private contractor? Otherwise your payroll people are negligent, since they are responsible for withholding the correct amount of SS tax.

Bleh taxes...
I honestly don't know a damn thing about em', or even how they work, why you get money back, etc....
I consider my self to be a pretty smart guy, but when it comes to shit like that it's way over my head...
