So I had to expand a whole brick of coir for my tarantula :facepalm:

I only used very little, and have a lot left over. Can I allow it to dry

and store it for later use? I'd imagine yes. I plan on using it for

the cultivation of P. Cubensis

Yes

Just dry it very well before storing.


Done this many times in my shrooms days. 


Damn growing some shrooms sounds like a good idea.

I'd just make sure to pasteurize it before using it. Coir isn't generally nutritive enough for anything to grow but just to be sure.

are you using it for a background build, or the actual substrate?  If for the substrate, i think it can cause compaction issues. 


Personally, i prefer the clay based recipes,w/a false bottom, or strait gravel covered with the thick layer of leaf litter
