 Shrooms don't make me trip?

I've done shrooms three times in my life, and each time it would only put me in a blissed state of mind, things are more brighter, but thats it. I've smoked a lot of ganja and dropped LSD many times also and those drugs are a way better experience in my opinion. People exaggerate shrooms too much on how they make you see like people or animals that are not their and you might think your gonna lose control and go insane if no one is their to guide you. I guess its a different experience for everyone? I need some input here.

What strains have you tried?
You may want to try a new strain, or possibly a higher dose.

I had an eighth each time and they were california gold caps. But i'll have a higher dose next time.

-make sure you dont have a tolerance (wait a week before trips).
-make sure your 8th is bone dry.... (a wet/moist 8th is alot less shrooms then a dry one)
-next time try doing with tea... or "the lemon teq"
if these dont help get a new supplier

could be strain. or improperly dried
I remember buying a quarter of fresh shrooms in high school .... thats like .7 dry

Lol shit thats unfortunate. I have the opposite problem where I only eat 2 grams and am blown the fuck away. I'm mad sensitive to them, I have no idea why. Maybe because I started eating them at like 14 lol.

i thought i couldn't trip either, but it was just the shitty thai shrooms i was growing. They just made you 
try different strains, and different dosages. Make sure you aren't on any medications or vitamin supplemtns that may interfer.

I ate 3gms that I had for about 4.5 years that were just kept in a ziplock at room temp. Had a pretty decent trip as well.
But yes they can degrade.

This is total BS, dude was just trying to make a sale and covering all his bases. Taking SSRI's can fuck with your trip though, at least I think so don't quote me on that.
You could drink a gallon of milk while tripping and be fine, probably puke, but still be OK. I drink lots of juice and water throughout my trips, also east lots of fresh fruit, it never hurts my trip. Sometimes I have to void my bowels when the mushies kick in, this is rare but it never takes away from the experience.

Dude, I have never heard that in my life. I know sometimes when they like first really kicked in, I had to go take a shit, but it never really messed with my trip whatsoever. I've never grown them myself, but I did help a friend of mine a few years ago, but still, I'm probably not the best person to ask as far as the cultivating goes, but as PO said, you should probably just go on over to the Shroomery and you'll find out everything you need to know over there, for real.
Come to think of it, it's been a few years since I've tripped  Don't really trust just random shrooms from anyone though after I knew what strain I was ingesting and saw how they were grown and all that, know what I mean? My buddy grew some called Ecuadors once (heard of em anyone?) and I fucking LOVED those. The Penis Envies were a little weird to me, but still ate em a few times. Didn't hate em or anything, just didn't like them as much as the Ecuador prints he got off the Shroomery that got him started. Those fuckin things were
