Photosynthetic Vertebrate

If a photosynthetic vertebrate were found, do you think that we could adapt that to ourselves?

How cool would it be to get ~25% of our food from the sun

Alcoholics Anonymous is a fellowship of men and women who share their experience, strength and hope with each other that they may solve their common problem and help others to recover from alcoholism.

The only requirement for membership is a desire to stop drinking. There are no dues or fees for A.A. membership; we are self-supporting through our own contributions. A.A. is not allied with any sect, denomination, politics, organization or institution; does not wish to engage in any controversy; neither endorses nor opposes any causes. Our primary purpose is to stay sober and help other alcoholics to achieve sobriety.

Evolution is a constant process.  Just look at the evolution from  :awedrugs: to  :FattyNoneck: .  I joke but in all seriousness evolution is a constant process in which epigenes are constantly being change via environmental input.  Even if the genes are not being expressed they are carried on to further generations.  Some of these genes can even be switched on prenatal through environmental factors and are becoming a big suspect for a whole host of disorders.

How many plants have got animal genes in them because of our intelligence?

Are you saying that we couldn't find a way to get humans to use photosynthesis?

Im not saying in the next 10 years.

But to say that we couldn't at some time adapt this to humans is a bit :imslow:

I think that yes we absolutely will be enhancing humans in the near future
We've already found a few photosynthetic invertebrates so we're not far off I'd say.

We will no doubt dabble with this shit to enhance ourselves in one
way or another. But what the fuck? How have we not found a cure for
cancer yet or aids?? Or maybe you just need to be rich ie Magic Johnson

That would be awesome.  :awesome:

I have been working on a way to create this.  :nerd:

I have come up with pretty simple method.

Hypothesis:
By opening ones mind to a full on psychedelic cleansing, one may be able to program DNA to allow photosynthesis.

Step 1:
Eat around 8 to 10 grams of mushrooms at least. Smoke DMT while about to peak on mushrooms. Go out into the sun and lay down as the DMT is flowing away and you are peaking hard. Move around in a "snow angel" like movement. Repeat "photosynthesis" over and over like a mantra.

Achieve sun-human symbiosis. :sunny:

You're welcome.  :boring:
