so i was using my roomates computer because he has a better graphics card then me and i was playing games. I just smoked a bowl and i minimized the screen for just a sec. right when that happened the computer turned off, i heard a popping sound, and i smelt smoke. THIs random act of god is going to fuck me.... what the hell man, hes going to hate me for ever BOOOOOO

Oopppsie, sounds like the PSU just toook a shit.
The mobo could have also fried, though.
It might not be completely borked, most computer hardware can be replaced, just depends on what it is.
you didn't do shit to his computer out of the ordinary so he shouldn't be mad, there is probably 5 years of dust built up inside it.

oh very positive...im pretty computer savy, i think it was the power supply, but still its the matter of the fact that it had to do it while he was on vacation and letting me use it. just my luck.... guess ill break it to him with a blunt... or two...possibly ghb
