is 9mm Glass when it breaks just as easy as 3mm glass
im so fucking pissed right now
I had a little glass full of ice
like a 4" tall glass that said coke on the side
I was fucking pouring ice in it and it slipped out of my hands and hit my ashcatcher...
My ashcatcher is fine, so is my downstem, bowl... but my fucking 9mm US Tubes beaker is in 100 pieces
How the FUCK does that even happen
I am never buying a bong over $50 again in my life.

AND under further inspection the area of the bong that broke isnt 9mm at all
even though US tubes is said to be one of the only companies that dosent lie about the thickness, or use thinner glass in the beaker
The fucking part that broke was 2mm thick at most, fucking scam
I suggest you avoid this company, although im not saying any other companies are better

ugh, that sucks man. You didn't have that one too long. I spent a few hundred on a bong once. I still have and use it. but next time my money is going toward a vaporizer. too bad there's not much you can do about it now. Just spread the word about this company.

everything can break, nothing is perfect.
put some pictures up of this 2mm glass though, post it on tokecity forums and i'm sure they'll give you a brand new tube. the guy who makes US Tubes visits that site and they've done this before for several people. just don't come off like an ass because everyone on the site will hate you.
but seriously they will take care of you. they are good people and have replaced faulty tubes before. you can even search and see threads like this in the past. brand new tube. worth a shot. not many companies glass companies i know that will stand behind their product like that.

My 'cano was $350 used, still under warranty. After a years use the internal temperature regulator broke and I sent it to Oakland for a repair. They cleaned the whole thing out, replaced the screws holding the metal covering, fixed the problem, and replaced the rubber rings; all for under $100.
Less than $100 (even yearly) is less than a lot of people I know who go through glass like it's nothing. It's been almost a year since I had that repair and the 'cano's still working great.
Not that glass isn't great too:

Yea I love that bubbler, it was only $35 at the opening day sale for the local head shop.
My personal pipe is my claim to fame though:

That's why I always stick to plastic-bottle, home-made bongs...
That why, when I accidentally drop my bong for holding a chronic hit just a *little* too long, I don't break anything. Sadly, it does spill bong water all over my carpet. Sucks cleaning up, since like my sh*tting sessions, it gets all over the place .
I wish the world made one-way valves, like a ocean snorkel, that would "stop" water from going the wrong way (up the stem and out the bowl), that would the best invention in the bud world since sliced cannabutter-soaked bread!
Of course, my plastic "Gatorade-bong" is not all plastic: I bought a nice glass bowl and stem at a head shop. I love that stem: its got these holes on the bottom that make the hit "Smooth", like inhaling purple velvet into your lungs. And the bowl is hand-crafted, and its got some cool semi-transparent "ghoust" colors/designs going on. Glass Head shops Rock!
 -> Not shown with glass downstem with diffuser holes. Lost it and can't find it (damn short-term memory loss!). Can't work as a bong without it. But, it still works as a dry pipe, but its not very balanced (top-heavy), but fillin' it with a little water for balance helps.

I think I heard somewhere that just the heat of the smoke is enough to release the bad shit into the chamber with your hit, not positive though.

I love how its split up into 2 sides, the right is weed-plants, the left is like this psychedelic mushroom/DMT relem or something with the big happy stoned-out sun in the middle, giving everything life.
This artist is definitely one of my favorite drug artists I've seen...Anyboby know his/her name?

If you notice it's not just split into 2 sides, it's 4 quarters - I always assumed one quarter for a different drug. Mushrooms, acid, weed, and something else

I love making home-made stuff. I can customizes it what ever I need on it (carb hole, 2 straws, down stem). And if I lose the original bong bottle, I can just buy a new one on the road. Its great!
