I was reading the comments on the youtube video they have posted. One was kinda funny and said something to the effect of, they must have had a lone skunk male unnoticed and it pollinated their whole crop producing all these skunk mixes. :lol:

The freebies are way, way better than they used to be too. I got G13 Labs Thai S-Skunk freebies the first two times, which are great if you like flowering 14 weeks. Going from those to the White Widow etc. freebies now is a huge improvement.

I received those too, but mostly anything thats gonna be crossed with a Thai is gonna take close to 14weeks. It's a long time but I think well worth wait.

Has anybody here (Magash?) grown the mother strains before? I've been doing some research on these:

Sleestack (Shrom x Martian Mean Green)
70% Sativa - 30% Indica
Flowering Time: 9 Weeks
Description: "This strain brings two of our favorite strains together. Shrom is a cutting that we got a few years ago from Northern California. The Shrom yields and tastes great. Got mine today, turns out they didn't ship my order til the 9th.  Have nothing but nice things to say, everything went smooth, and took about a week or so to get to my house from overseas.

Not to shabby, can't beat getting some pretty tasty genetics for 14 bucks.

EDIT: Oh yah, this also marks the first time I've personally bought seeds from a bank.  Every grow of mine I've purchased seeds from friends, received free seeds, or snagged clones from other growers.

I was fortunate enough to receive these seeds in the mail too. I'm throwing my current plants into bud on Jan. 1st

So, I'll do a log of these beans come March or April.

It would be cool to have a single thread about these logs.

I'm a big proponent of individual logs.  There could be a forum section called 'Mass Logs' and a sticky could have all the logs linked under the strain headings.  Magash could have his in there too.  I think that'd be a good idea for maybe a larger population.  thoughts?

Started my LA Conf x Skunk on saturday.  All three beans popped and pushed to the surface.  Will be transplanting to hempy cups tonight.

I'll get a log up for them asap.

Can't wait to see how those perform. I have some that will be cracked in the future. Did you order all 5 strains? What made you pick that strain to crack first? It's hard for me to decide which ones I'll do first. I love Kush so I'm guessing it may be the KandyKush or the Kushberry for me.

I chose it because I remember when DNA released LA Conf.  It had quite a buzz around it (no pun intended) and lots of people really enjoyed the smoke.  Soooo, that's really my main driving factor behind choosing it.

Up next is the sleestack x skunk since my gf is a fan of land of the lost.  Maybe it get her a little interested in my grow :wink:

How long is it taking you guys to get your beans? They recieved payment on the 12th and the track and confirmed activated on the 16th and its the 23rd now. I should of just stuck with seedboutique. They always delivered within 7 days. from when payment showed up and its been 11 with attitude. I fly out tomorrow night and if they dont show up by then they will be in the mailbox for a couple weeks before I get back. :/

It took a little longer than usual this time, but you have to take in account how busy USPS is during the Christmas season theres way more packages to process and a lot of offices near me stay open later around this time. Thats if you are in the U.S at least. And I found it's not the banks fault but the post office in New York where all the overseas packages are dispatched from.

They won my loyalty when they sent me

DNA genetics La Woman and also G13 labs Midnight Kush for free rather than super skunk and lock stock. Both way better strains. Along with the greenhouse seeds K Train (kush x Trainwreck) and big budha bluecheese (blueberry x Cheese x cheese) All feminized.

Definitely have a customer for life if they keep this up.

Kandy Kush = OG Kush x Trainwreck
K-Train = Original Kush x Trainwreck

The two has different mothers which results in different strains and characteristics. In my opinion the Kandy Kush will be much better, since I really don't like Greenhouses genetics.

I look at it as California pride. they think everything grown in California is the best. Kinda like how the dispensaries there all sell california only strains clones/seeds/bud that you cant find at any seed bank? I bet a good majority of it started out as beans from a seedbank and someone got the good idea to just relabel and distribute.

Well if my memory serves me right, I believe there were a few kush varieties going around but the best was the "Ocean Grown" variety.  Don't quote me on it, if anyone would know it would be magash.

Sounds about right but also If the strain is "going around" I highly doubt any one version is any better than the other ones unless it was clone only clones going around and at which point its only as good as the work originally put into it.

I look at strains like i do operating systems. Sure linux is good (a bunch of hackers pitching in a little work and passing it around) but both windows and mac (single source work) will always be better.

So at this point I cant take a side on which one is better until I have fully grown out multiple of each type and taken clones of the best ones and working them up. Cause really, doing a seed grow is like doing a multispore grow. Retards/mutants always find their way to the surface.
