Seaweed extract

I'm using seaweed extract for the first time. Has anyone had any great success with this stuff? It says on the bottle it's a growth stimulant. Does that mean food?
I've been adding it to food solution in the concentration given on the bottle. Foliar feeding almost every day for about 2 or 3 weeks. Haven't noticed any damage. Intermittently sprayed with just water to allow residue to soak in.

It also says on the bottle can be used with other foods. Doesn't sound like it's food. But I asked the man in the garden shop and he said it was. Anyone know?

OK then: I like it.
I go with organic grows always; I use it from the time my babies get their second set of leaves (its part of my soil mix after the first transplant) then later in veg as a foliar feed, and in the soil mix for flowering. I don't do any foliar application of ANYTHING after I begin flowering.
It is a supplemental nutrient as far as I'm concerned, not providing enough of any one thing to be called "plant food"; more allowing your plants to access nutes based on their needs, preventing lockout, and generally improving the overall health of the plant. Growth characteristics and vigor are vastly improved for me with kelp as compared to growing in the same mix without it.
If you've done a lot of reading on it, there isn't much else to learn without using it yourself.

I used nitrozimes marine algae extract from the get go and had a great results. I grew from cuttings with a friend. He used only miracle grow soil and I mixed up organic soil. Once the plants were ready to go outside my clones were 4 inches taller that his and full of new growth. In my case I had wonderful results...but diff strains will react differntly. I had ak47. Good luck ...let me know if you see any noticable results. Happy gardening

YES!!! I have used that in every previous grow except the current one because I can't afford it... That shit has worked FUCKING wonders for me bro... I would seriously recommend that to anyone, along with fish emulsion fertilizers. Organic is the way to go!!!
Edit: 400th post... nice. BTW use it right through flowering!

Humic acid is the r0x0rz. I use top max myself, my hydro shop was giving away tons of bottles of it and I loved it after my first run with it.
