Of course people are always loosing their jobs thats what happens everywhere. Just with like with this many people it's always someones birthday. I just my job in June 06 was permanently laid off didn't get a job till Feb 07.

 That would be people like me. I'm getting baked now, then it's time to crank out 7 or 8 pages of lab writeup. And I've never lost a job (and yes, I've been employed from the time I was 16 until the beginning of this school year, when I decided it would be a good idea to slaughter myself with a full load of advanced courses).
