Hello everyone! This will be my first time growing marijuana and I need a couple pointers to send me in the right direction. My grow area will be fairly small, just enough to hold 1-2 plants. How big of a grow box should I create in order to make this possible? Length width and height dimensions please.
I know that I will be growing indica plants because they are smaller.

3x2x6' is the smallest I would go. Get a 400W HPS.

If space is a concern, special considerations can be made. A quick web search for "New Ganja Boy" (NGB) type grows will show tiny grow-boxes producing incredible yields in cabinets that could fit inside a moving box. But I most certainly agree with Ethnoguy that you need about 8sqft of floor space (3'x2 2/3' would be perfect  ), and 5'-6' of height to be fully comfortable with two plants and a 400w light.

Im worried about the odor that can come from my grow. I'm still living with the parents so smell is one of main concerns.
Are there any read ups on making an effective carbon scrubber or anything that masks smell and does it efficiently? I mean no odor at all.
Also, When does the weed smell the strongest and will be almost near impossible to hide the odor? Because I need to try and mask the smell from my parents at all times.
I read this tutorial. Anyone know how well it works?

Yeah, you gotta give them some respect. While weed should be legal, its not. Don't put your parents at risk over your illegal activities, no matter how harmless they seem to be.
